Site Update
We've updated some of the look and feel of our site, and we've also added a few new sections. Check out the News & Events section to keep current on dojo events. Also, be sure to check out Sensei's Corner. Sensei will be updating this periodically with thoughts, philosophy, commentaries: whatever's on Sensei's mind. Check back often for updated content. Notice, too, that there is now a Deshi Program section. Check out this page for Deshi Program Qualifications and an online application. The slide shows on the home page and the Gallery page have been randomized to keep things a little fresher and we'll be we working with the dojo photographers to upload content more often. More updates to come... - The TRA Web Team

Follow-Up Cleveland Seminar
Due to the wild success of the Cleveland seminar in February, 2007, a follow-up seminar has been scheduled for the weekend of June 30th, 2007. Sensei Freeman and Three Rivers Aikido would like to extend a special thanks to Vladimir Soroka, Dojo Cho of Three Streams Aikido, Cleveland for organizing and hosting the February event. Vladimir Soroka has been a long standing personal student of Sensei Elliot Freeman and all of Three Rivers Aikido and our extended families would like to congratulate Soroka Sensei for his opening of the newest Tenshin dojo under Sensei Freeman. As a result of the wide interest in Sensei Freeman's Randori Seminars, the June 30th seminar will focus on its unique deflection systems on Friday and Saturday and will continue on Sunday with different multiple attack principles and scenarios. The June seminar will review and expand on techniques from the basics to Tenshin's special insight on randori. For details on the June seminar, check out the Three Streams Aikido website.

A Somewhat Unpleasant Note
On a somewhat unpleasant note, it has come to the attention of Seagal Sensei that a former student of his has chosen to act in a less than ethical manner in an attempt to obtain rank from Hombu dojo. Seagal Sensei has written a letter to Hombu dojo concerning the matter.
